Now counting up to a total of at least seven workstation GPUs based on Nvidia’s latest Ada Lovelace architecture with the incoming release of the RTX 2000 SFF graphics card. As the name would suggest, this is for small form factor builds and will be the entry-level point for their Ada workstation line-up.
VideoCardz is one outlet reporting on this new & upcoming graphics card – and while the naming convention may be confusing to some, no, it’s not part of the RTX 20 series. This is a workstation GPU and there’s still much to learn about, as its currently-known specs has a whole lot of blanks to fill in.
Nvidia RTX 2000 Ada GPUs are on the way
There are already six workstation GPUs that make up the RTX Ada workstation and it looks like two more are coming, though just one of those models is expected to be designed for workstations as a discrete GPU for consumers.
- Nvidia RTX 2000 Ada
- Nvidia RTX 2000E Ada
There hasn’t been any clear indication to what differences in specs these graphics cards will have, but the E-model could be targeted towards enterprises for on-going support and the non-E model is a workstation GPU for all. As mentioned though, both of these RTX 2000 Ada cards are designed for small form factor builds, such as within a mini-ATX case.
