Best Buy Presidents’ Day Electronics Deals That Are a Landslide of Savings

Some of February’s best shopping comes during Presidents’ Day weekend, where we celebrate the Executive Branch with a work-free Monday and discounts at a bunch of retailers. While we don’t think the right to low prices is explicitly written in the Constitution, you know Abe Lincoln would have wrestled a bear to get to these deals. Best Buy is having a huge President’s Day sale with massive cuts on some of their most popular products, and here are five of the best offers you’ll find this weekend.

One of the best deals over President’s Day is this massive, bright QLED display from Samsung. The Q70C uses the Tizen smart TV platform to give you fast and intuitive access to every streaming platform under the sun, and UHD content looks amazing on it. Four HDMI 2.1 bandwidth ports make it a great pick for console gamers, as does its zippy 120Hz refresh rate with support for multiple VRR systems. Audio is solid too with DTS and Dolby audio through ARC/eARC outputs. Taking almost a hundred bucks off makes it a steal.

Bose is a trusted name in audio, and if you’re looking for a simple solution to dramatically boost the sound quality in your TV system, the SB 900 soundbar is the way to go. Featuring gorgeous design and high-end build quality, it deploys nine-driver sound for room-filling audio. It can connect to sound sources with two-way Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or HDMI eARC, and you can control it through the Bose Music app or through your choice of virtual assistants, either Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. Juicy price cut too.

Not quite what you’re looking for? We’ve got more soundbar deals for you.

Sure, you can invest in a gaming laptop to handle all of your PC exclusives when you travel, but there’s just something more satisfying about playing them on a machine that does games and nothing else. The Asus ROG Ally is a Steam Deck-esque mobile gaming powerhouse that capably handles most modern titles. In our review, we gushed over its “slick design and lightweight build,” as well as noting its exceptional battery life. Being able to save $200 makes this competitive with a Nintendo Switch, which it easily overpowers.

These are some of the nicest over-ear headphones we’ve had the privilege to wear, and in our review we gave them an Excellent rating and said they “deliver excellent audio performance and support a strong array of Bluetooth codecs.” At their heart, a 42 mm transducer system brings you smooth, clear bass frequencies without distortion. We also said the active noise cancellation is competitive with other brands and they were comfortable to wear for long periods. Our only qualm was the price, so being able to shave off a hundred bucks makes them very attractive indeed.

Here’s a nice $150 discount on a perfectly competent laptop. We gave it an Editors Choice award in our review, noting that it is “an excellent budget laptop for general use, with a sharp, colorful screen for multi-window productivity.” Contained within its simple and unobtrusive housing is an AMD Ryzen 3 7320U processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD. The anti-glare panel is easy on the eyes. This configuration comes with Windows 11 Home and a free month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
