Beats Strikes a Multi-Year Deal With Major League Soccer

Apple’s Beats has made a multi-year agreement with Major League Soccer that makes the company the official consumer audio partner of MLS.

Officially announced Monday, as part of the agreement Beats will make customer sets of its headphones created specifically for the teams. The brand plans to kick off the partnership with eight teams in 2024 — Atlanta United, Columbus Crew, Inter Miami, LAFC, Nashville SC, NYCFC, St. Louis City SC, and Toronto FC, with more expected throughout the partnership.

In addition to the custom headphones, MLS players will be featured in Beats brand marketing campaigns.

In a release, MLS said “The partnership will highlight the unique intersection between music and sports with players having the opportunity to wear Beats headphones and earphones on the pitch pre- and post-match.”

Major League Soccer is set to kick off its 29th season in the United States on February 21. Apple will be offering the 2024 season through MLS Season Pass, which is available in more than 100 countries on Apple TV.
